Is Mindset a "Success Strategy" for a Home Business By Rose Kirkland
Do you have a clear understanding of the mindset required to create success in a home-business? The word "Mindset" is frequently used in the entrepreneurial world. However, lots of people don't have a clear understanding of the word. In the home-business industry, the internet marketing industry, and in the entrepreneurial world "the leaders" talk about MINDSET and how important it is while others (not yet successful) just nod their heads as if they understand what the leaders are really talking about.
It's like a joke that you don't really "get" but, you laugh anyway because the smart, rich, leaders are laughing! Therefore, since they are laughing it MUST be funny. The only difference is, a joke will go away and pass from the moment, but the leaders are ALWAYS going to be talking about MINDSET!
The FACT is: If you really understood it, "YOU WOULD" be one of the leaders! Did you know that 80% of success is accomplished by 20% of the people (or the team)? So! , to be VERY successful you just need to be in the top 20% of the group-whatever group you represent.
I was a school counselor, with a Master's degree, for many years. Therefore, I am going to discuss some human psychology here. I didn't make this stuff up; but this is how the human mind works. These simple principals have been known and accepted by the scientific community for centuries. As much as I'd like to tell you I figured it out, the truth is it's been known for a long time. So, let's get started.
There are three components at work for all of us to find success in anything we attempt to do. Like the three sides of a triangle there are 3 EQUAL components to your success in the "entrepreneurial world".
1. The first component in a mindset is your "Self-talk". Your self-talk (the way you talk to yourself) is buried in your unconscious mind---way down deep in your BELIEFS. The unconscious mind is the one that always reacts to something impulsiv! ely without thinking. The unconscious mind believes everything! it's to ld. So, if your unconscious mind is being told things like: "This is easy". "This is great". "I can do this". "I love to do this"---then guess what? You are RIGHT!
But, if your unconscious mind is being told: "This is hard". "I can't do this". "This is painful". "I'm afraid to do new things"-then guess what? You are RIGHT again! Whatever your beliefs are about ANYTHING is how you will talk to yourself. We'll call this your internal communications! So, whether you think 'YOU CAN' or whether you think 'YOU CAN'T' -- ---You are RIGHT!
2. Now, the problems arise with this next component which is your external communications. The problem is your internal communications control your external communications in every way. Your voice, your eye contact, your body language (posture), and even your hand shake are always communicating your internal communication with yourself. Since your beliefs control your internal communications and your internal communications contr! ol your external communications-you are always communicating to the world in one way or the other. Your unconscious mind cannot tell a lie. Therefore, the ONLY way you can change your external communications is to change your BELIEFS. We are ALWAYS showing up as "WHO we are on the inside"!

It makes sense to not only target by a searchers keyword but also by the searchers geographic location.
Hypothetically, let's say I own a business located in Philadelphia, PA. I am looking for a public relations firm in order to help market my business to consumers living in the Philadelphia area. As you would expect, one of the first ways I look for a public relations firm is to search online using a major search engine such as Google. Because I am a small or medium sized business located in Philadelphia, it makes sense for me to do business with a public relati! on firm located in the Philadelphia area.
So the question is, how do I find a public relations firm located in the Philadelphia area? I can search for "public relations companies" on a Google search and I will get a list of thousands of PR companies from all over the world. Since I want to hire a Philadelphia area public relations firm, the search does not give me what I am specifically looking for. Chances are, local companies are not found easily in this type of search. Nationally, much of the blame for the current housing downturn has been placed on easy access mortgages that targeted many consumers who are now unable to pay.
Although clearly the market is going down, the foreclosure issue is far more complicated to some. Industry insiders who make their living from mortgages say some statistics are multiply by a factor of 2 to the number of foreclosures recorded. A state level mortgage executive clams that federal government is "double dipping" the numbers by counting second mortgages, using an inconsistent sample population from year to year, and counting all the different phases of a foreclosure as new filings. He point is well taken, clearly complicating the issue.
However with more that 5 percent of American homeowners delinquent in their payments, a jump of three-quarters of a percentage point from last year, and the numbers are still staggering. But lately, several options have surfaced to aid the troubled homeowne! r.
One choice of particular interest is the pre-foreclosure sale, it allows you to sell your home and pay off your mortgage before a foreclosure, thereby preventing damage to your credit rating. Not your typical real estate investor,"Home owners need to know what terms they have, pre-foreclosure investor want to assist in finding the best option for the plan...the majority of lenders don't want to foreclose." This could be a clear indication for many homeowners facing a possible foreclosure to pull out their mortgage documents and double-check the terms.
Nationwide, foreclosures continue to be on a steady rise; 36 percent from July to August with an eight-month total of 244,000 foreclosed homes, an increase of 115 percent from last year. Currently, foreclosures are soaring in Maryland, and many of the loans that homeowners are defaulting on are interest-only loans where no principal is paid. For which the interest-only periods have recently ended. Many oth! er borrowers took out adjustable-rate mortgages (ARMs) over th! e past t wo years, and now the low initial payment period of the ARMS has ended. In both cases, borrowers are finding themselves equally trapped with higher interest rates that translate into significantly increased monthly mortgage payments that could go even higher.
Government officials are steadily trying to develop ways to assist strapped families, now that the housing boom the nation experienced over the past five years has declined

What a great time to be alive! The introduction of the personal computer has made our lives easier in so many ways. It has also lead to a wave of people who have a desire to start and run their own online business. Who can blame them? Work At Home - Someone Will Live Your Dreams...Make That Someone YOU By Antonio Easter
I found myself hunting through my email account, looking for anything that I could read as a foundational start for my a successful day. Yes, I found it! I opened up the email, read it, and then clicked on the link toward the bottom of the page. This link took me to a mans site, who was testifying of his beginnings as an Internet Entrepreneur. His story was long, and to my amazement I had been listening for over five minutes before I thought twice about it.
I quickly rushed from top to bottom of this site many times looking for pictures, or a text which would grab my attention. I found it. PICTURES...This guy who has being discussed by the site owner was privileged to have been afforded a brand new Phantom Rolls Royce, a Ferrari 360 Spider, a 13,000 plus square foot home, that is situated on an outstanding piece of property, with health club, and amusement park amenities. Just an incredible site to behold. All this purchased by his Online Business. He had started hi! s business 24 months ago. However, within six months of him starting his business, he was able to retire.
This gent is living my dream I thought. I got excited, ran to bring my wife to the computer. She sat down, and we both began to get extremely excited about what the future held for us and our strong desire for a multi-million dollar Home Business Enterprise.
You must know that my wife and I have discussed on numerous occasions our dream of owning 100 acres, with a 14,500 square foot home, tennis court, basket ball court, go cart race track, huge lap swimming pool, a pool hole, a huge man made lake with wave effects, to bring us as close to the beach as possible without being there. The dream cars, dream vacations, being able to give over 1.over 2 million dollars a year as tithes, and pour financial blessing into the lives of the needy round about us. This goes on and on.

Also, if you can dream it then someone else can live it. Anytime you or I forsake our dreams for any reason at all, someone in life's passing captures the vision which was once ours, picks it up and dashes for the finish line. In time, creating a dream that belongs to us for them and their family. After all the energy spent in the creation of your Dreams, why will you willingly choose to lay them at the feet of someone else (who labored not for them) to benefit from.

Below are some activities that will drive your business forward, and each one of them should be tracked daily. Remember those habits we were talking about earlier? Tracking is a required habit you must develop. ! Without it, you can forget any real long-term success. If you ! assign a value to each activity, and tally them at the end of each day and week, you will find that as your numbers grow, so does your business. Some of these activities will yield you more growth than others (sponsoring rep's for example), so they should be weighted to reflect that. Earn More Than Money By Barbara Delville
Owning your own home based business is a personal development journey with a pay check attached. It's not just about the money ... it's the person we become along the way.
In achieving the confidence to need to have to create a life by design and not by default, we must ask ourselves certain questions along the way:
* What is the next level I want to achieve? * Who has achieved the results I want so that I can model them or mentor with them? * What are the character traits of that successful person? * What if I step into their character traits? * Take full responsibility for your business and your life, step into these positive traits and act 'as if'.
How do our leaders attain that confidence and are able to maintain it?
What are some of the reasons holding people back?
Unfinished business is one of the factors that keeps us from moving forward with our plans. It is like carrying an invisible knapsack on our back that weighs us ! down and zaps us of the positive energy that we need to move forward. Imagine what would happen if we put that knapsack down and let it go? Solution: Create a clearing where you eliminate unfinished business.
We also don't create a clearing for moving forward because of denial e.g. of finances, money flow, or never balancing our checkbook. The reality is that we are in denial. We pretend that there is not an issue but the issue constantly zaps our energy and is in the back of our minds constantly. Solution: get out of the denial phase immediately.
We must confront the issue and begin to address it. As you clear out these issues, your burden becomes lighter and you have energy to create new things. Every time you overcome an unresolved issue, you feel great, you have more confidence, you feel stronger, and facing the issue and dealing with it fills us with a sense of pride and a sense of accomplishment.
In creating financial wealth and in creating ! a life that is more than money, we must also identify our fear! s. Ask y ourself: what is it that I am afraid of? What is my deepest fear? What is my deepest fear around my business? What do I fear about the future? What fears do I carry with me from my past?
When we begin to name our fears, we begin to identify what it looks like and then are able to develop a plan of action to overcome those fears. A very human response is to create stories around our fears and the stories become our reality. It is wise to remember the acronym that 'fear' is 'False Evidence Appearing Real'.
The physiological response to fear is very important as it causes our adrenal glands to burn out, the stress creates large amounts of cortisol to be released in our body, our weight becomes 'stuck' and we are unable to release the weight. The body in effect creates a hormonal response of resistance and the body is exhausted. Women tend to gain weight while men tend to feel flat and exhausted. The result is a life filled with emotional clutter - we have bag! gage and we can't get anything done.
