- Find a product or service, or find other peoples services or products and sell them for a commission. Selecting the correct product is a must, if you don't have anything to sell the rest will be in vain.
- Building a website, now that isn't as complicated as it sounds, there are lots of companies that specialize in one off websites. You could also look at buying a template for your website which tends to be a fraction of the cost. Lots of information product suppliers will supply you with a free ready made website so you can start selling their products immediately. Not a bad place ! to start!
- Decide on your domain name, ideally this wi! ll relat e to the product or service you have selected to sell. Your domain name is the only clue to your online business . You do not have any visual clues: no location, no look no store design.
- Choose a company to host your website. A host is a server which provides a home for your website on the world wide web. Hosting services and companies vary from totally free to large scale dedicated machines. You'll have to decide which is right for you and your business.
- Promote your website on the internet, submitting it to search engines and online directories. Writing articles and posting them online is an excellent way to market your website. PPC (pay per click) is another way to advertise your site and attracting visitors. Adding banners advertising your site on other website can be a good way of gaining customers. You need to monitor this carefully to see what is the best for your own product. Don't forget you are doing this to make some easy money.
